Good day! I am Diana Houston, I’ve been creating quilts for over 20 years.
It has been a progressive journey that I am thoroughly enjoying and I would love to share my Millie Long-arm and expertise with you!
Not too long ago I decided I was going to purchase my own long arm! I started a new temporary job and set aside each pay cheque with my sights on my long arm. Within the year I had saved enough money to purchase what I thought I wanted. The only thing was there was a sale going on at the time! So, what did I end up doing, Go Big or go home!! I am the now the proud owner of a APQS Millie 30 with Quilt Path, a computerized quilting system.
I now have the opportunity to quilt on my own APQS Millie 30 and offer computerized quilting services to my customers OR rent out time so they can finish their own quilts in free motion or by pantograph. My Millie sits on a 14-foot frame, I would be hard pressed to find a project that would not fit on this frame. With 30-inch throat and a 14-foot bed this Millie, can handle anything from a crib size to California King.
My quilting area is in my home and is smoke free, but for those with allergies, I have companions by the names of Scamp and Lady. These two Cockapoo’s follow me wherever I go and love to see who is coming to the house! Then they are off to their beds for a nap.
Not only can I help you get your quilt tops quilted, but I can also provide you with an embroidered label to match your quilt. This is another service that I can provide just for you.
